These areas were developed by using the Census Tracts as its base and determining the Healthy Establishments and Unhealthy Establishments, based of the Food Facilities Inspection data from the Health Department, in each tract. This was then used to determine the Retail Food Environment Index (RFEI) for each tract. This dataset was adopted as part of the County Council of Prince George’s County’s Healthy Food Priority Areas, CR-99-2020, legislation. Population information was gathered from the U.S. Census Department's American Community Survey (ACS) 2014 - 2018 estimates data.</SPAN></SPAN></P></DIV></DIV> |
